The NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong and the party's National Treasurer, Hon. Amb. Barbara Nekesa Oudo, yesterday joined the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Senior officers at the inaugural CDF Inter-Forces Drill competition at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
The event Presided over by the CDF brought together sixteen service units to compete in synchronised drills, showcasing the highest standards of precision and teamwork.
The Competition also demonstrated the core values and capabilities of the national army including team work and discipline.
The Party officials praised the CDF, for his dedication towards improving the skills of the Army and organising such an event, the first of its kind.
They also heaped praise on the Commander in Chief, H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for his visionary leadership, attributing UPDF's success and resilience to his Guidance.
Several Ministers, MPs, Senior Officers in the Army attended the event.
