Today, Bugiri, Mayuge, Namutumba, & Namayingo district NRM delegates endorse speaker Among & Mukula for top NRM CEC positions.
Speaker Among was endorsed for her bid for the position of NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Female), a position which is currently held by former speaker Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, while Capt. Mukula was endorsed for NRM Vice-Chairman Eastern Region.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker Anita Among, together with the NRM Vice-Chairman Eastern, Capt Mike Mukula today concluded their tour of Busoga, where they engaged newly elected NRM leaders during a sensitisation meeting focused on government programs and their role in effective implementation and monitoring.
NRM leaders from Bugiri, Bugweri, Iganga, Jinja, Kaliro, Luuka, Mayuge, Namayingo, and Namutumba pledged their full support for her bid for the position of 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Female) on the NRM Central Executive Committee, as well as for Capt. Mike Mukula for Eastern Region Vice-Chairman seat.
More than Ten Mps from Busoga were in attendance, and they included:- Hon. Solom Serwany, Hon. Kauma Sauda Alibawo, Han. Sanoni Nadeba, Hon. Milton Muwuma, Hon. Idi Isabirye, Hon. Baka of Bukoli North, Hon. Peter Mugema, aka panadol, and many more other.
