PDM: "Revolving Fund Cast At 24,168 Households In Mbale District"- Focal person, Wanakina Reveals As Parish Chiefs Meet

The Sacco chairpersons, Parish chiefs and community development officers are attending a one day PDM review and planning meeting in lukhobo hall at the district headquarters in Malukhu.

The meeting is organised by the commercial office injunction of district production and marketing officer as the focal person for PDM.

Wanakin George Davidson affirmed the findings saying the funds disbursement stands at 98.75% with over 90 PDM SACCOs including 2,175 vibrant enterprise groups.

17 Sub counties and three town councils are direct beneficiaries walloping a total of 23,063,070,372 as projected though apparently, 22,741,070,372 amount has been successfully disbursed.

What You Need To Know:-

PDM is one of the latest strategies by the Government to deliver services to the people for improved livelihood.

In December last year, the government released over two Billion Shillings in parish revolving fund for beneficiaries in Acholi Sub-region in both Centenary and DFCU banks.

Through the programme, the government targets a total of 16.1 million Ugandans, or 3.5 million households, living under a subsistence economy to benefit from PDM.
