Mr. Wambogo Moses, the NRM Chairman for Mbale District, continues to monitor and support the ongoing NRM joint campaigns across Bungokho North, Central, and South Constituencies.

While addressing voters at a rally on Tuesday evening in Busiu Town Council, Mr. Wambogo expressed gratitude to residents for their overwhelming support for the NRM party. He commended both the candidates and their supporters for conducting themselves peacefully and maturely, engaging in issue-based politics.

"We are one NRM family,” he said. “This is not a fight between enemies but a process to identify one strong candidate who will face contenders from other political parties or independents.”

He emphasized neutrality, reminding the public that all candidates are under his leadership and that no one should claim to be his preferred choice during this process. It is the voters who will decide.

Chairman Wambogo also addressed concerns about electoral integrity, assuring the electorate that the era of vote rigging and result manipulation is over.

"A genuine winner will be declared. That era of rigging is gone. This is a new chapter of transparency and fairness, " he added.

In a bold remark, he cautioned any person who chooses to oppose the eventual flag bearer:

"Whoever wants to be my enemy should try contesting against any of my elected flag bearers and they will see how tough Wambogo can be," Mr. Wambogo said.

He concluded with a call for calm and unity, urging everyone to remain peaceful throughout the electoral process.
