KAMPALA, Uganda — Embattled businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba is once again under the spotlight — this time facing allegations of orchestrating a smear campaign against fellow candidate King Ceasor Mulenga, in the heated race for National Chairperson of the NRM Entrepreneurs League.
According to credible sources within the campaign trail, Basajjabalaba is alleged to have paid a controversial blogger Denis Musoke to publish defamatory content aimed at damaging King Ceasor Mulenga’s public image among delegates.
