Ex-DIGP Sabiiti Muzeeyi Involved in Road Accident

Former Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gen. Sabiiti Muzeeyi, is nursing injuries following a serious road accident earlier today.

The incident occurred while he was returning from Ssembabule district, when his car convoy was reportedly struck by a Fuso lorry loaded with cows.

Sources indicate that Gen. Muzeeyi’s condition is serious, prompting his airlift to Kampala for advanced medical management.

Gen. Muzeeyi currently serves as the General Manager of Luwero Industries, the business arm of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces’ National Enterprises Company (NEC).

Details about the cause of the accident and the condition of other occupants in the convoy are yet to be confirmed.
