The Ministry of ICT, in partnership with Uganda Communications Commission, hosted the Regional Broadcasters’ Stakeholder Engagement for the Central Region at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala.
The engagement aimed to discuss pertinent media issues, particularly in the context of the forthcoming elections.
In his address, Hon. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister for ICT, urged broadcasters to responsibly use the airwaves to promote peace, order, and national unity—while upholding professionalism, neutrality, and a commitment to the public good.
