Yesterday, I met with all political aspirants in Mbale District, along with the District Police Commander, Regional Police Commander, DISO, and members of the Electoral Commission.
I urged all candidates to maintain peace, adhere to the rules and regulations, and conduct themselves in a manner that promotes harmony and respect for one another. I warned that any candidate who breaches the rules will face the full force of the law.
I emphasized the importance of peaceful and friendly campaigns, and assured candidates that adequate security will be provided to ensure everyone's safety during the campaign period.
Let's work together to promote a peaceful and credible electoral process. I'm committed to ensuring that Mbale District remains stable and secure as we exercise our democratic rights.
