The NRM. National Treasurer, Ambassador Hon. Nekesa Barbra Oundo has thanked the people of Busia, Samaia Bugwe and Bukedi Sub-region at large for a huge turn up for president Museveni’s successful rallies in the region.
In an exclusive with the nrm maney bag, she also noted that the region is prepared to vote the National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential flag bearer and President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 90% in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
Nekesa made the statement after a successful rally in Busia district, M7 as part of his ongoing nationwide tour seeking re-election for the 2026-2031 term.
It is estimated that over a million of supporters gathered in Busia to listen to President Museveni’s manifesto last Saturday, rating it as one of M7's big campaign rallies in the country.

Nekesa was the head of Bukedi Sub-region campaign Taskforce (campaign coordinator team) Expressed confidence that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will secure an overwhelming victory in the 2026 general elections.
She revealed that leaders across the entire Bukedi Sub-region were United to mobilize vigorously to ensure that the gatherings were successful, she claimed that President Museveni win with a 90% Vote margin come 2026.
Nekesa thanked everyone for keeping it at peace while at the venue urging them to vote for President M7 and all NRM flagbearer for better service delivery.
M7 is now in the Busoga Sub-region to pass on his manifesto.
