The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer and incumbent Woman Member of Parliament for Mbale District, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye, has successfully concluded her campaign engagements across the district, with final rallies held in Bungokho Subcounty yesterday. Her district-wide campaign covered all subcounties and town councils, where she mobilized support and reaffirmed the NRM’s commitment to grassroots transformation.
Hon. Mukhaye thanked party members and voters for the confidence and trust demonstrated during the NRM primaries, which enabled her to fly the party flag. She also appreciated the people of Mbale District for the warm reception and overwhelming support accorded to her throughout the campaign period, urging supporters to maintain high morale, unity and discipline ahead of polling day.
Addressing supporters, Hon. Mukhaye reaffirmed her dedication to service delivery in line with the NRM manifesto, particularly in the health and education sectors. “𝘋𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮, 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦,” she said.
She further appealed for continued support to enable her, in the next term, to broaden her development agenda to include household income enhancement and youth empowerment, in line with the NRM’s vision of socio-economic transformation.
As elections draw closer on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye enters the final stretch of the campaign with strong grassroots support, proven leadership and a clear development agenda, placing her in a strong and favorable position to secure victory.
