Minister Betty Amongi's media personnel, Solomon Odyek, aka Ajoka Alango Macroni goes Missing after many consecutive successful huge Rallies in Lira City.
According to our sources, it has been alleged that he was kidnapped on Sunday night by Amongi's opponents.
Speaking to our inside informers in Amongi's camp, they confirmed the alleged kidnapping.
"He was the one spreading the big rallies with commentating words on YouTub, TikTok, & WhatsApp groups. So Dr. Jane Aceng felt he was over marketing Hon. Amongi's rallies"- one Amongi's supporter said.
He further claimed that the trucking is on and know the team was paid to kidnap him.
It should be noted that Uganda people’s congress (UPC) Betty Amongi's unbelievable huge crowds in Lira City is a big threat to NRM's Dr. Ruth Aceng.
Ministers Betty Amongi and Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng few Months ago launch their campaign programmes in Lira City, signalling the start of a closely watched political contest ahead of the 15th January, 2026 polls.
Amongi the UPC flagbearer is rallying UPC supporters, while Dr. Aceng is highlighting her development record as she seeks to reinforce her support base.
Their simultaneous launches have stirred wide interest across the city’s political landscape.
