Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) Betty Amongi's Unbelievable Huge Crowds In Lira City A Big Threat To NRM's Dr. Ruth Aceng.
Ministers Betty Amongi and Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng few Months ago launch their campaign programmes in Lira City, signalling the start of a closely watched political contest ahead of the 15th January, 2026 polls.
Amongi the UPC flagbearer is rallying UPC supporters, while Dr. Aceng is highlighting her development record as she seeks to reinforce her support base.
Their simultaneous launches have stirred wide interest across the city’s political landscape.
