Heartfelt Compassion Prevails: Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Agrees to Release Erias Lukwago After Wife Charlotte's Emotional Plea


Kampala – In a touching display of humanity and family influence, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced the impending release of prominent Ugandan politician Erias Lukwago, following heartfelt persuasion from his wife, Charlotte.

Speaking publicly via his X, Gen. Muhoozi revealed that Charlotte’s compassionate intervention moved him to reconsider the situation.

“My wife Charlotte spoke to me, and I have decided to release  Erias Lukwago,” he stated.

According to the General, Lukwago’s release is imminent. Once freed, he will be handed over to the police for routine processing and further formalities as required by law.
