Bobi Wine Abandons His Car, Enters Kabale Town On Foot As Police Blocked Him.




Security forces, including the army and police, Blocked the main entry to Kabala town for NUP's Robert "Bobi Wine" Kyagulanyi.


The main road was blocked by a fire brigade truck as early as 9 a.m.


Kyagulanyi who was expected in Kabale town for the 4th day of the party's national mobilisation campaign was forced to jump out of his car and footed 3km to enter Kabale town.


Bobi Wine Immediately hit his Twitter and blamed Security for the interruption and harassment of his supporters.


"THANK YOU KABALE. The police and military started harassing you in the early morning, but you insisted and stayed on the streets to wait for us. When they blocked us from entering the town, you peacefully marched through the town with us. And yes you are still waiting for us outside the radio!"- Bobi Wine.

Police attempted to block him from accessing radio but he maneuvered and held an interview at exactly noon. After the program, Kyagulanyi headed to Nyerere Avenue to officially open party offices.


After opening offices, Bobi Wine headed to Kabale Primary School Playgrounds to address his supporters but unfortunately, Police had earlier on cordoned off the venue.

Bobi Wine has concluded his western Uganda political your and will be heading to the Eastern region next week.
