Failed SEE-TV Owner In Panic As UCC Rejects Transfer Of License Ownership To MCF For Failure To Pay Off Former Employees' Salaries After Sell-Off The Station.

Failed SEE TV Boss and owner of prime media, Mr Brutus Kajingo is in panic as the Uganda Communication Commission (UCC) rejects approving a transfer of ownership request for failure to clear off former employees' Salaries amounting to 600 million.

What You Need to Know:

Earlier this year, SEE-TV suspended all its normal programs including its workers claiming they were going to make renovations and a few changes.

It was later discovered that the owner of the station, Mr. Brutus Kagingo had sold off the station to a well-known man of God, Pr. Tom Mugerwa of MCF - Mutundwe.

It was at this point that employees discovered that their Jobs were no more, yet the station had failed to raise salaries for more than 11 months.

After discovering that the former boss had successfully sold off the station, the employees filed a complaint to UCC through their lawyers blocking the transfer of ownership till when their money was paid.

Luckily enough, former employees are in jubilation after UCC responding  positively by rejecting the transfer process, till the matter has been settled.

It should be noted that SEE TV which hit the airwaves in a new style massively was on air for only two and a half years.

The Station was located in Naguru just a few Kilometers away from the police headquarters.
