NRM CEC Elections: Minister Oboth Chickens Out Of The Race, Mukula To Battle Rival Echodu

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission (EC) has included its is nomination process for all candidates interested in contesting for CEC positions.

According to its EC boss, Dr. Tanga Odoi, Only three candidates on the position of Eastern Region Vice-Chairman position had returned forms, and they included:- Captain Mike Mukula, Echodu Calvin and Christopher Buyela.

This was a clear signal that Oboth Oboth had pulled out of the race.

It should be well noted that recently Capt. Mike Mukula and Defence Minister Jacob Oboth Oboth exploded ahead of the party’s internal elections, after Oboth putting a disclaimer that he had exited the race. 

Mukula is now expected to battle his immediate rival, Ecudu Kelvin and youthful Christopher Buyela.
