PFF fronts Nangayi Guyson in the Bungokho Central MP race

The people’s Front For Freedom has endorsed Nangayi Guyson as its official flag bearer, in the Bungokho Central MP race, in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.

Nangayi is set to face off other candidates including Masaba Muhamood, the nrm flag bearer, Wanda Richard the incumbent, who decided to run as an independent candidate after losing the nrm primaries, Welikhe Kafwabusa, Wamono George and many others.

People's Front for Freedom (PFF), Uganda's newest political party, fresh off registration with the Electoral Commission in June 2025. 

Founded by a breakaway faction from the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), it's positioning itself as a "freedom network" for the 2026 general elections, with opposition heavyweight Dr. Kizza Besigye serving as head of its Council of Eminent Persons.

Nangayi's response after getting the party declaration Certificate:

It fills my heart with immense joy and renewed purpose to announce my official return home, where I was met with the warmest and most inspiring welcome from the members of PFF.

These are not just supporters, they are the true, battle-hardened fighters for Peoples Freedom in Uganda, standing firm with unwavering conviction. It is an honor to be among them once more.

I am deeply humbled and energized to share that I have been officially recruited and will represent our formidable party in the Bungokho central constituency, located in the vibrant Mbale district. 

This is a significant responsibility, one I embrace with profound dedication and a commitment to championing the freedom and aspirations of every constituent.

The preparations are in full swing, and I look forward with great anticipation to the nomination days, scheduled for October 22-23, 2025. 

Together, with the spirit of PFF and the people of Bungokho central, we are poised to move forward with strength and determination.
