Kira division police has confirmed that Seven children have been reported missing at the Catholic shrine while nine have been recovered and are with the child and Family Protection Unit inside the basilica.
Police said most of these missing children are with in the areas of Namugongo but since the population is big they couldn't identify where exactly but opted to wait for the numbers to reduce so as they can easily locate them .
According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire,Deputy PRO KMP, they have started the search to have the Seven children recovered. Luke also said that the nine who were found re-united with their parents.
