Coffee Seedlings Become High in Demand as Butiru MP Elect Wakooli Godfrey Expands Distribution Drive

Coffee seedlings have become highly sought after in Butiru County as the area Member of Parliament, Hon. Godfrey Wakooli Matembu, intensifies efforts to promote coffee farming through continuous donations to farmers.

The legislator, working through his Political Assistant, Wodada Emmanuel, has extended the distribution exercise to more sub-counties, including Butiru Sub-county and Bunabwana, reaching hundreds of farmers with improved planting materials.

This initiative is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and improving household incomes across the constituency.

Speaking during the distribution, Wodada Emmanuel urged farmers to take proper care of the seedlings to ensure maximum yields.

He emphasized that increased coffee production would enable families to meet essential needs such as paying school fees, accessing healthcare, and improving their standards of living.

The ongoing distribution underscores a growing shift towards commercial agriculture in Butiru, with coffee increasingly becoming a key driver of economic transformation in the area.
