"Sparks of Supremacy: Nekesa Ignites Museveni’s Grand Swearing-In Spectacle with Fireworks Extravaganza Today"

KAMPALA — In a dazzling declaration that has set the political firmament ablaze, NRM’s National Treasurer, Hon. Nekesa, has officially confirmed plans for what insiders are already calling the most spectacular fireworks display in Uganda’s modern history — timed perfectly for the eve of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s historic swearing-in ceremony.

Speaking during a high-level NRM mobilization meeting in Kampala, Nekesa, whose sharp financial acumen has steered the party’s resources through turbulent times, left no doubt about the scale of the celebrations.

“This is not just fireworks,” she proclaimed with characteristic confidence. “This is a luminous testament to the enduring leadership of President Museveni. On the eve of the swearing-in, the skies over Kampala and selected regional hubs will light up like never before,  a massive, synchronized symphony of color, light, and national pride.”

According to Nekesa, the “Museveni Eve” fireworks show will feature state-of-the-art pyrotechnics imported from leading global manufacturers, including towering aerial shells, cascading waterfalls of golden sparks, and custom-designed patterns spelling out “NRM” and “Vision 2040” across the night sky.

Multiple launch sites are being prepared to ensure the display is visible from as far as Entebbe, Mukono, and parts of Wakiso.

Organizers promise a 45-minute non-stop spectacle that will rival any on the African continent.

Party insiders say the decision reflects the NRM’s buoyant mood following a decisive electoral victory.

“The Treasurer has been instrumental,” said one senior cadre who preferred anonymity. “She has ensured that every shilling is accounted for, while still delivering a celebration that matches the magnitude of Museveni’s achievements in infrastructure, peace, and regional stability.”Critics, however, have raised eyebrows at the extravagance amid ongoing economic pressures faced by ordinary Ugandans.

Nekesa was quick to address such concerns head-on: “Development and celebration are not enemies. This is an investment in national morale. When our people see those skies explode in glory, they will remember why they entrusted us with leadership yet again.”

Security agencies are already coordinating with event planners to ensure smooth logistics, while cultural troupes, musicians, and youth leagues are expected to complement the pyrotechnics with ground performances throughout the night.

As the countdown to the grand swearing-in begins, one thing is certain: when President Museveni takes the oath once more, the heavens themselves will bear witness in a brilliant, thunderous, unforgettable blaze of light orchestrated under the watchful stewardship of NRM’s formidable National Treasurer.

Uganda, it seems, is not just preparing for a ceremony. It is preparing for a celestial declaration.
