Capt. Mukula Set To Unveil Arrow Boys Fc & Football Academy On Friday In Soroti

Flight Captain Mike Mukula is set to unveil Arrow Boys FC—code-named “The Black Bombers”, alongside the Arrow Boys Football Academy on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Timisha Hotel in Soroti City.

This landmark initiative signals a new dawn for football in Teso, marking a bold and strategic investment in identifying, nurturing, and elevating young talent across the region.

The club and academy aim to offer promising youth not only a platform to showcase their abilities, but also a clear pathway to national football and, ultimately, the international stage.

Captain Mukula, who will serve as President of both the club and the academy, emphasized that the project is rooted in his lifelong dedication to the growth and empowerment of Teso.

He noted that providing young players with opportunities to refine their skills and compete professionally can transform lives, restore regional pride, and open doors to elite clubs such as SC Villa and Express, or even to lucrative careers in European leagues.

In a major boost to the technical strength of the new club, Mukula confirmed that Frank “Video” Anyau, a proud son of Teso and one of East Africa’s most accomplished coaches, will head the technical team.

With vast experience coaching top-tier sides across the region, Anyau and his colleagues are expected to deliver world-class training and mentorship to both the club and the academy.

The launch of Arrow Boys FC stands as a bumper opportunity for the people of Teso, underlining Captain Mukula’s visionary leadership and his unwavering belief that the region’s youth deserve the very best platforms to thrive.

Importantly, this strategic move is expected to draw football scouts from all over Uganda and beyond, turning Teso into a new hotspot for talent discovery. With increased visibility, the region is poised to attract national and international attention like never before.

As with many of Mukula’s initiatives, this project is driven by a genuine desire to uplift Teso, unlock local potential, and pave new avenues for prosperity through sport
